Liam Payne’s Alleged Drug Dealer Speaks Out
Earlier this month, three people were reportedly arrested in connection with Payne’s death. One of those people, an Argentinian waiter named Braian Nahuel Paiz, has been accused of selling Payne drugs before he fell to his death off a third-floor balcony at his hotel.
Paiz insisted in an interview on Argentinian TV that he did not supply drugs to the singer, although he admitted that they took drugs together at the hotel during Payne’s time in Buenos Aires. According to the Daily Mail, Paiz said they first met at the restaurant where he worked prior to his arrest.
Paiz said he exchanged details with Payne and later met him at his hotel, where he claims the singer showed him music he was working on. He added that Payne appeared to be “already under the effects of drugs” when he was at the restaurant.
“There was a moment when he approached me and asked me for my contact details,” Paiz explained. “I gave him an Instagram and afterwards he sent me messages because he wanted to take drugs although he had already consumed narcotics.”

Paiz Admits to Doing Drugs with Payne
On October 2, Paiz said he and Payne did whiskey shots together in the singer’s hotel room. He also shared a photo of him and Payne together, which was apparently taken during this meeting. On October 13, three days before Payne’s death, they apparently met up again.
“We spent the night together, we consumed drugs because the truth is that something intimate happened,” Paiz said. “He wasn’t aggressive at all, he behaved really well with me, he was really sweet. He asked me if I was okay.”
Paiz said that Payne offered him money and even clothing, but he never accepted it. Paiz has reportedly been fired from his restaurant job. He’s not the only suspect in connection to Payne’s death who has spoken out.
Payne’s friend Rogelio ‘Roger’ Nores responded to accusations that he abandoned the singer before his death, saying, “I never abandoned Liam, I went to his hotel three times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened. There were over 15 people at the hotel lobby chatting and joking with him when I left. I could have never imagined something like this would happen.”
