Jennifer Lopez Talks About Marrying Ben Affleck
Lopez and her Shotgun Wedding co-star Josh Duhamel recently appeared together on Today to talk about their movie. The actress also opened up about the experience of embarking on a new marriage with Affleck. The pair got married in July of last year.
“We moved in together. The kids moved in together,” Lopez shared. “So it’s been, like, a really emotional transition. But at the same time, like, all your dreams coming true. And it’s just been a phenomenal year. My best year, I think, since my kids were born.”
That’s when Duhamel chimed in to jokingly say that he loves Affleck as well. Lopez said she understands why, calling Affleck “dreamy” and “a sweetheart.”
“The thing that I think I’ve been wondering about my whole life is, ‘Is love real? Does true love exist?'” Lopez shared. “It’s two people kind of coming together and saying, ‘I’m gonna be here no matter what, and we’re gonna get through it together.'”

Lopez Has Been Married Four Times
This isn’t Lopez’s first time walking down the aisle. She’s been married four times before, first to actor Ojani Noa. She later married dancer Cris Judd. Lopez’s longest marriage was to fellow singer Marc Anthony, from 2004 to 2014.
Lopez and Anthony share twins Emme and Maximilian, who are now 14 years old. The star told Today that her kids have watched some of her movies, including Maid in Manhattan and The Wedding Planner. They also watched Selena but were upset by the ending, because they didn’t realize the titular singer had died.
Recently, Lopez announced that she’s releasing a new album later this year called This Is Me… Now. It’s a sequel to her 2002 album This Is Me… Then. That was the same year she first got engaged to Affleck. Lopez said it’s been “such a journey” since then.
