Jennifer Hudson Splits With Fiance David Otunga
Kevin Mazur/WireImage The Voice coach and pop icon Jennifer Hudson has broken up with her fiancé David Otunga after 10 years. It seems that the break-up is nastier than it appears as Jen has taken out a protective order against David to protect her and their son David jr.

The couple has been together since 2007 and he proposed in 2008. I’m not sure why they didn’t get married but I guess now in retrospect it’s best that they didn’t. They have a son together, 8-year-old David jr. It’s unclear why Jennifer put on the protective order against Otunga as no specific allegations of abuse have come to light. Otunga’s attorney denied their was any abuse and doesn’t understand why she did that. That makes me think that there are going to be allegations of abuse.
At any rate, this is a sad day for poor J-Hud. God knows she’s been through a lot after the murder a few years ago of several of her relatives. We wish her the best. By the sound of it, Jen you are better off.
