Jamie Lynn Spears to Compete on UK’s ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’

Jamie Lynn Spears was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars earlier this season, but she has another celebrity competition show lined up. Spears will be competing on the UK show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Jamie Lynn Spears to Compete on I’m a Celebrity…
Spears is one of 10 celebrities recently announced as part of the cast of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Season 23, which kicks off this Sunday on ITV. Competitors will spend up to three weeks in the Australian jungle.
According to People, Spears has said she’s “wildly excited and nervous” to deal with her fears of things like insects, adding, “I am absolutely frightened of everything.” She called the show “a nice chance to show who I really am.”
“There is literally every misconception you can have on a person about me so I don’t take any of it seriously,” said Spears, who is the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears and has faced online hate from her fanbase.
The Season 23 cast also included Nigel Farage, a controversial former member of the British Parliament who led the Brexit movement. The show is hosted by Britain’s Got Talent personalities Ant & Dec (Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly).

Spears Was Eliminated from DWTS
Spears was one of the celebrities in the Season 32 cast of Dancing with the Stars this year. She was paired with pro dancer Alan Bersten. The pair was eliminated in the second week of the competition, after dancing a Cha Cha on Latin Night.
After her elimination, Spears took to Instagram to call Bersten “the absolute best friend and partner that anyone could ever ask for.” She also told fans that she noticed their vocal disappointment about her elimination, thanking them for “the tremendous amount love and support.”
She called the show “an amazing experience,” adding that she was “soooo excited to see all the fabulous contestants and their partners continue to KILL it each week!!!!!”
