Jamie Lynn Spears’ time on Dancing With The Stars is officially over. The Zoey 101 star has been eliminated on Tuesday night after her two-week journey on the reality series. Amid the sad news, Spears took the time to thank her fans and followers for their support.

Jamie Lynn Spears Reacts to Her DWTS Elimination

After the DWTS episode, Spears expressed her gratitude for the people who supported her during her journey. In a lengthy post on Instagram, the Sweet Magnolias star stated that she’s not been blind that several people were disappointed about the results.

“Yalllllll, I promise I hear and see all the many wonderfully passionate ppl who are not happy with the way things fell tonight, and i appreciate the tremendous amount [of] love and support,” she wrote.

Spears and her dancing partner Alan Bersten for a 15/30 for their tango last week. Of this score, the celebrity stated that she wanted to “do better” for she doesn’t like to be “average.” On Tuesday, they danced a Cha Cha in which she unleashed her sultry side, something out of her comfort zone. Afterwards, the judges gave them a 16/30, praising Spears’ improvement from her debut performance.

During the October 3 episode, Spears actually didn’t have the lowest tally of the night. This is why judge Derek Hough deemed her elimination a “quite surprising” and a “shocker.” However, while bewildered by the outcome, Spears is keeping a positive attitude.

“This was an amazing experience, and I’m very happy to have been apart of it, and soooo excited to see all the fabulous contestants and their partners continue to KILL it each week!!!!!” she wrote.

As she ended her journey on the show, many of Spears’ supporters came to comfort her. In the comment section, fans and fellow celebrities cheered her up, saying that she did “incredible” all throughout and “must be proud of yourself” for that.

She Thanks Alan Bersten for Being Her Dancing Best Friend

More than anyone, Spears is especially thankful for her dancing partner. The actress made a huge shout out to Bersten in the same Instagram post.

“Alan, you’re the absolute best friend and partner that anyone could ever ask for,” she wrote.

According to Spears, Bersten’s elimination was what she hated the most about her exit. Indeed, the DWTS pro was bummed about his early goodbye for Season 32. On his Instagram Stories, she shared a tearful emoji on his Instagram stories.

“There’s nothing I love more than dancing on @dancingwiththestars,” he wrote.

Bersten has been on the show for 12 seasons and has served as a pro for eight seasons. He was able to snatch a Mirror Ball trophy in 2019 alongside partner Bachelorette alum Hannah Brown.

Prior to Spears’ official DWTS journey, she revealed that she intended to donate her weekly earnings to the WGA. Such move was her way to support the ongoing writer’s strike, as well as to the SAG-AFTRA.

“I got to raise some money for my #SAGAFTRA community and meet some of the most amazing ppl, and That’s a win by all accounts in what I set out to do. Softball moms are hot,” she wrote.
