Now that Holly Forbes’s time on The Voice is over, she’s announced that she’s on to the next step in her career. Holly will be joining America’s Got Talent season six winner, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. on his Home for The Holidays tour.
After finishing in the Top 10 on The Voice, Holly has made waves in the talent show world. Now that she is no longer on the competition show, she is riding the fame-wave earned from her time on The Voice. This singer was a clear fan favorite throughout the show, so it’s no surprise a fellow talent show veteran would pick her up for a concert series.
Landau won America’s Got Talent Season 6 in 2011. His amazing renditions of Frank Sinatra classics are what ultimately won over the audience and judges. Since winning the show, this jazz singer has continued sharing his music with the world. He currently resides in his home state of West Virginia and is continuing to make music.
Holly will be leaving Kentucky to travel around West Virginia with Landau on this five concert tour. Tickets are now on sale with prices determined by the venue, but typically start between $20 to $30. Prior to announcing Holly’s attendance, Landau shared on Facebook that more dates may be added in the future.
Landau Fans Are Happy to See Holly Joining His Tour
Fans of the AGT winner have not taken this news lightly. They’ve inundated the singer with comments sharing their excitement for the upcoming concert series. Holly was one of the fan favorites from her four-chair turn audition in which she sang a beautiful rendition of “Rocket Man” by Elton John.
“I really thought she’d go all the way and win the voice,” wrote one fan on Landau’s Facebook page. “She is awesome, such a great singer, love her and you, you both are great, will be an awesome event.”
Many thought this singer would be a force to reckon with in the 21st season of The Voice. Unfortunately, she only made it into the Top 10. It was obvious that Holly had the chance to become a star on the show, so this concert series is definitely a step in the right direction.
