Gwen Stefani Details Her, Blake Shelton’s Christmas Traditions

The Voice coach Gwen Stefani is not only creative in music, she also knows how to get inventive in the kitchen. The pop star recently shared how she and her husband Blake Shelton make efforts to create new traditions for Christmas.
Gwen Stefani Details Her Luscious Christmas Treat with Blake Shelton
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Stefani revealed that it’s been their routine to try new things for Christmas. Amid her attempts, the singer is lucky to receive support from her husband.
“We started off by always trying to find something that wasn’t a tradition — like, let’s try something different, try something new,” she said. “We stumbled across this dish called the Timpano Dome. It’s basically like a lasagna but it’s in this dome formed either with bread or a pasta. We started doing that a few years ago and now that’s the thing, yeah.”
For those who may not know, Timpano Dome is an Italian dish consisting of layers of meatballs, sausage, cheese, marinara sauce, and pasta wrapped up in a delectable butter crust. In the Shelton household, however, they’ve decided to replace pasta with a pizza dough.
“Probably some Italians might get mad about this, because typically it would be a pasta wrapped around it, but we started doing a pizza dough because it tastes yummy,” she said.
As Christmas quickly approaches, Stefani is thinking if she can actually make dough for the Timpano dish on her own.
“Maybe I’ll make the dough myself this year — which would be a lot on Christmas day… but I might actually do it the day before,” she said. “I’ll definitely put it on Instagram — so follow along guys!”
The “Rich Girl” singer didn’t reveal where they will be spending the holidays. Shelton family has two homes, one being in California and another in Oklahoma.
They Recently Shopped for Holiday Crafts in Los Angeles
Aside from their professional affairs, the married couple is clearly busy in making their home Christmas-aesthetic. Stefani and Shelton were recently spotted shopping in Los Angeles for crafts and décor. The husband and wife stopped off at a Michael’s store.
In the photographs, the pop star can be seen wearing a light blue denim jumpsuit. She paired the same with a pair of white cowboy boots and a puffy white coat. Meanwhile, Shelton kept it casual in a green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The country crooner completed his look by slipping on a pair of brown shoes.
On December 3, Stefani gave fans a glimpse of how they are preparing for the Holidays this year. In a video uploaded on Instagram, the songstress boasted their dazzling setup, showing their mini festive houses placed on top of cotton to resemble snow.
“Feels like Christmas at the Shelton home !! gx,” Stefani wrote.
Stefani also filmed how she and Shelton picked out a Christmas tree. In the video, Shelton can be seen putting it in the back of their truck so they could bring it home. The pop star then showed how they decorated the tree, playing their original duet “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” for the vibe.
