Darren Criss and Adam Lambert are giving fans the Glee reunion they have been waiting for. The pair teamed up for a song on Criss’s newly announced Christmas album, A Very Darren Crissmas. “Everybody’s Waitin’ For The Man With the Bag” is just one of the 12 songs featured on the album, which is out on Oct. 8.

Criss also teamed up with Evan Rachel Wood and Lainey Wilson on other tracks. But, his collaboration with Lambert is the one that is the most talked-about on Twitter. Lambert played the role of Elliott Gilbert on Season 5 of Glee. Criss became one of the most popular cast members since his debut in Season 2. They were dynamite together on the screen.
“STILL NOT OVER THE FACT THAT WE ARE GETTING DARREN AND ADAM ON THE SAME SONG?? PINCH ME AM I DREAMING??!” one fan wrote on Twitter.
Social media is full of Glee fans writing in all caps because they cannot contain their excitement. Criss has been very busy this year and just released his EP, Masquerade, in August. Lambert is just as busy as he is gearing up for the premiere of Clash of the Cover Bands. The American Idol alum serves as a judge on the show and has plenty of expertise as the lead singer of the Queen revival.
“I always knew that if I ever made a Christmas album, it would have to be much more than just a collection of songs you already knew,” Criss told People. “I’d want it to be a journey through songs that not only had a personal significance to my life, but also a unique introduction to songs folks had never heard before, and a re-introduction to a few they might think they know – but have never considered differently.”
Lambert and Criss are both powerhouse singers that can literally sing the phonebook. If their scene together on Glee is any indication of how this new song will be, prepare to have it on repeat. We are so looking forward to hearing their collaboration to put us in the holiday spirit. A Very Darren Crissmas can’t get here soon enough.
I love it more
