Charlie Walk Is Officially Out At Republic Records

The inevitable has happened as The Four judge and Republic Records president Charlie Walk was officially fired from the record company. This comes after he stepped down from The Four after several women came forward to allege that Walk had sexually harassed them.

You’ll recall that right before the finale of The Four this passed season, Charlie Walk quit the show after a huge controversy that he had repeatedly sexually harassed several women including Tristan Coopersmith, who worked with Walk several years earlier. Republic Records, (to which a contract is the top prize on The Four), launched an internal investigation to see whether or not there was any basis for these allegations against Walk. Apparently, they must have found something because they decided to part ways with him.

The big question is who will be the fourth judge next season on The Four. Clearly, Walk can’t come back and he’s not longer in charge of Republic so what’s the point? There have been rumors they might bring in one of Diddy and Khaled’s artist friends or another exec from Republic. We’ll have to wait and see but Charlie is officially donzo.
