Carrie Underwood’s return to the Las Vegas stage is not just about the music; it’s also a showcase of her revamped stage wardrobe. Meticulously curated by stylist Emma Trask, this wardrobe transformation adds a new layer of excitement to the highly anticipated event. Underwood returns to her Reflection residency at Resorts World Theatre on September 22.
Carrie Underwood Showcases Updated Concert Outfits
While the core essence of the show remains unaltered, the updated outfits promise to breathe new life into the performance. This update perfectly coincides with the release of her Denim & Rhinestones (Deluxe Edition), on the same day the residency resumes.
One of the standout looks in Underwood’s updated wardrobe is the iridescent-colored outfit. This iridescent jumpsuit, which first made its appearance in the promo shoot for Reflection, has been reimagined as a romper for the Act One opening.
As the show progresses into Act Two, the spotlight shifts to her next ensemble. This segment boasts a captivating blend of gold and black, with a striking jeweled body harness as its centerpiece. Trask built the entire ensemble around this focal point, incorporating super-flattering pleather fringe chap boots by Azealea Wang.
For the grand finale featuring “Something in the Water,” a one-of-a-kind liquid-look silk organza gown was custom-made to create a dramatic moment. Sourced from Egyptian designer Kojak Studio, this gown not only resembles water but also handles moisture gracefully without becoming burdensome. Amidst a plethora of options, this particular gown stood out as the perfect choice for Underwood. It also adds a memorable flourish to the show’s conclusion.
Carrie Underwood Extends Reflection Residency to 2024 With Added Dates
As Underwood continues to light up Las Vegas with her unforgettable residency, exciting news has just dropped. She announced the addition of 18 new dates for the year 2024. This thrilling extension allows fans from around the world even more opportunities to experience the magic of her live performances.
The residency originally premiered in December 2021 and exclusively designed for the state-of-the-art venue at Resorts World Theatre. Underwood’s residency also consistently received rave reviews and sold-out shows. Her 2023 run began in June and has proven to be an enormous success, with the demand for more shows prompting the addition of three more December dates.
In the midst of this exciting announcement, Underwood also made a special appearance on NBC’s Today show. Delivering a live performance at Today Plaza as part of the Citi Concert Series. This performance was also a sneak peek into what fans can expect from her forthcoming album, Denim & Rhinestones (Deluxe Edition), scheduled for release on Friday, September 22. The album features six new tracks, including the current single, “Out Of That Truck.”
