Zendaya and Tom Holland are reportedly engaged, as Zendaya was spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring at the Golden Globes last weekend. The couple met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Zendaya Is Reportedly Engaged to Tom Holland
During the Golden Globes red carpet last Sunday, fans zeroed in on a piece of jewelry worn by nominee Zendaya. The actress wore a diamond ring with a gold band on her left ring finger. The detail had everyone wondering if she and boyfriend Tom Holland were engaged.
Then on Monday, TMZ reported the happy news. Sources told the outlet that Holland proposed to Zendaya between Christmas and New Year’s, at one of her family homes. TMZ reports that the proposal was “very romantic and intimate,” with no family around.
The couple first met on the set of the 2017 Marvel movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which Holland played Peter Parker and Zendaya played Michelle “MJ” Jones.” The two sparked dating rumors, but their relationship wasn’t confirmed until 2021.
According to TMZ, Zendaya and Holland haven’t started planning the wedding just yet, as they both have a busy 2025 ahead of them. The couple also has yet to publicly confirm their engagement.

The Engagement Ring Is Stunning
Fans are obsessed with the diamond ring Zendaya wore to the Golden Globes. According to E! News, the ring appears to be a 5.02ct East-West Cushion Diamond Button Back Ring, by designer Jessica McCormack.
According to McCormack’s website, the ring also features a Georgian style cut-down setting in 18k white gold and yellow gold. Zendaya paired the gorgeous piece with a classic Louis Vuitton gown and Bvlgari jewelry.
The actress also debuted a new tattoo during her appearance on the red carpet. A small letter “t” could be seen on her rib cage, peeking out above the bodice of her gown. It’s presumably a tribute to Holland’s first name.
