Carrie Underwood will take the stage at the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards, in addition to being nominated in four categories. That includes Entertainer of the Year, as well as three nominations for her song “If I Didn’t Love You” with Jason Aldean.
Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson just announced that she’ll be making an appearance during the show as well. Clarkson will perform a tribute to Dolly Parton, who is co-hosting the show with two other American Idol alums — Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett.
Clarkson and Parton recently teamed up for a new duet of the iconic song “9 to 5,” for an upcoming documentary about the film of the same name. The song and the documentary will both debut at the SXSW Festival on March 13.
Clarkson recently gifted her talk show audience with tickets to the ACM Awards to watch her perform in person. Tickets for the show are also available to purchase online.

Luke Bryan Will Also Perform at the Awards
The list of ACM performers with ties to American Idol isn’t finished. Luke Bryan, who won last year’s Entertainer of the Year award, will also appear during this year’s event. Other performers include Kelsea Ballerini, Jason Aldean, and Maren Morris.
This year’s awards will stream live on Amazon Prime, with no interruptions during the two-hour broadcast. ACM CEO Damon Whiteside told Billboard that the show will feature “wall-to-wall” performances.
“We’re going to just totally reinvent everything about how we approach an awards show,” Whiteside said, adding that “it’s just going to move really fast [without] a lot of talking.”
The 2022 ACM Awards will stream live on Amazon Prime on Monday, March 7, at 8 p.m. ET.
