‘The Voice’ Artist Preview: Who’s Auditioning for Season 28?

The Voice Season 28 is set to return to NBC on Monday, September 22. Ahead of the season premiere, let’s take a look at some of the talented artists who will be auditioning for the latest round of the competition.

The Voice Season 28’s Auditioning Artists

1. Aaron Nichols

This Nashville country singer will be taking the stage on The Voice. In his Instagram announcement, Aaron wrote that he’s going “from small-town stages to standing in front of those iconic red chairs.”

2. Aiden Ross

This 20-year-old singer is also an engineering student at Texas A&M University. Aiden describes his preferred genre as “pop-soul,” and his first single is titled “Everything and More.”

3. Alex Mitchell Brown

Alex is a singer from Nashville who specializes in R&B, soul, and pop. He currently has two singles under the name A.M. Brown available to stream, titled “High” and “Blue.”

4. Ava Nat

This singer/songwriter is self-taught on guitar and piano. Last year, Ava released an EP titled Align. She also released a single titled “The Hook” earlier this month.

5. Aubrey Nicole

This 19-year-old singer and actress is currently attending Belmont University, a Christian college in Nashville. Aubrey’s social media features videos of her covering country and Christian music.

6. Carly Harvey

On her Instagram profile, this singer from Washington, D.C., describes herself as an “Afro-Indigenous musician honoring heritage.” Carly’s newest album is titled Kamama.

7. Cori Kennedy

This country singer is originally from Minnesota but recently moved to Nashville to pursue music. According to her website, Cori takes “inspiration from my roots, my family, and the heart of my local community.”

8. Dustin Dale Gaspard

This singer writes in his Instagram bio that he’s “redefining ‘Cajun’ music.” Dustin has released a number of projects on streaming, including two albums titled Hoping Heaven Got a Kitchen and Dylan With the Pontius of Love.

9. Emmanuel Ray

This singer and UC Irvine alum describes himself as an educator and musician on Instagram. Now he’s headed to The Voice. Emmanuel’s new debut, Spanish-language single is titled “Ilusianado.”

10. Max Chambers

This singer has appeared on Broadway, playing “Little Michael” in MJ: The Musical, inspired by Michael Jackson. Max is sure to be one of the youngest competitors on Season 28 of The Voice.

11. Natalia Albertini

This 25-year-old singer from New Jersey comes from a musical family and has dreamed of being a singer since childhood. Natalia recently released a cover of “I Can’t Make You Love Me” by Bonnie Raitt.

12. Revel Day

Revel is an artist in the R&B and soul genres who has released quite a bit of music over the past several years. The California native has worked with musicians such as Pharrell and Stevie Wonder.

13. Rob Cole

You might recognize Rob Cole from Season 25 of The Voice. He failed to turn any coaches’ chairs in his audition, although duo Dan + Shay expressed regret at not claiming him for their team. Will he have better luck this time?

14. Toni Lorene Baker

Toni is a singer and actress with experience in stage musicals. Last October, she told Instagram followers that she was moving out of Los Angeles to become a full-time artist.

15. Trinity Giselle

Trinity is a singer and model who made her debut at New York Fashion Week last year. As she wrote on Instagram, “Everything that I’ve done has led me to bigger stages. This is only the beginning.”
