Maddie Poppe Invites Fans to Purchase Tickets For Virtual Live Show
Maddie posted an Instagram video to let her 382,000 followers know that tickets are available for purchase now. There are four different ticket options for Maddie’s show. The most expensive $110 option offers fans access to a live group meet and greet and a limited edition signed poster. Standard tickets for the show are just $10. The show starts at 7 p.m. CT.
Maddie also has some local shows lined up in her home state of Iowa this summer. She released a Christmas EP called Christmas From Home in 2020. It marked her first independent release since Songs From the Basement in 2016. Her first studio album, Whirlwind, was released in 2019 under Hollywood Records. In the past, Maddie did throw shade at American Idol for not plugging her album and a lack of support.
She also admitted that the pandemic changed her opinions on playing acoustic songs versus playing with a live band and audience.
“Playing acoustic has been fun, way more laid-back, but I miss playing with a band,” she said. “That’s definitely a change because I used to be so into the acoustic stuff. That’s the only kind of music I wanted to play. Now I miss playing off the band, having them there, and interacting with a live audience.”
Maddie has remained in Iowa for most of the pandemic but did travel to Nashville to see her boyfriend Caleb Lee Hutchinson who she met on American Idol in 2018. She is also noticeably sporting darker hair after rocking her blonde locks on American Idol.
