American Idol‘s Leah Marlene Releases New Single ‘Feel Like’

“Feel Like” is Marlene’s first new single since she released “Flowers” as part of her time on American Idol last year. The singer reached third place during Season 20. Now fans finally have a new song to enjoy from her.

“I can’t hold it in much longer / Your song in my head / Makes me feel like,” Marlene sings on the track, before launching into an infectiously funky chorus of da da das. The song has a sweet message about feeling happy in a relationship.

Marlene recently shared her new romance with fans on social media, posting a video with her girlfriend Madison Hobart set to the new song. Hobart is a fellow musician. Back in February, she shared an Instagram post calling Marlene “my valentine, my love.”

Marlene Is Currently on a North American Tour

Marlene announced back in February that she would be embarking on a North American tour this year. The tour kicked off in April, with dates running through the end of May. She even invited her followers to apply to be openers on the tour.

The singer auditioned for American Idol Season 20 with a cover of “Steal My Girl” by One Direction. The judges were impressed, giving Marlene a Golden Ticket to Hollywood. Marlene made it all the way to the finale, where she unfortunately didn’t receive enough votes to win the show.

After appearing on Idol, Marlene briefly made the move to Los Angeles before choosing to relocate to Nashville as she continues her music career. The singer is originally from Normal, Illinois.
