American Idol Season 20 finalist Leah Marlene recently took to Instagram to share that she’s in a new relationship with a fellow singer. Marlene also took the opportunity to promote her upcoming new single, called “Feel Like.”
American Idol‘s Leah Marlene Shares New Relationship
On Thursday, Marlene posted an Instagram video featuring cute clips of her and her girlfriend, Madison Hobart. The video is set to Marlene’s upcoming original song, called “Feel Like.” In the caption, Marlene wrote, “you make me feel likeeee.”
The singer added the hashtags #songofthesummer, #indieartist, #alternativemusic, #wlw, #lgbtq, and #gaylove. Friends commented how happy they were for Marlene. Fellow Season 20 Idol contestant Allegra Miles shared several crying emojis and a few yellow hearts.
Marlene’s girlfriend Madison Hobart is a fellow musician. The couple seems to have been together for several months now, as Hobart shared photos with Marlene in December. Then in February, she shared a post calling Marlene “my valentine, my love.”

Marlene Is Promoting Her New Song ‘Feel Like’
Marlene has been promoting her new song “Feel Like” for a while now, encouraging fans to pre-save it. She has yet to share an official release date for the track, but she has been sharing some snippets of how it sounds.
The singer previously posted a video with Hobart set to the track, as the two of them dance on a playground. Marlene sings on the track, “I can’t hold it in much longer / Your song in my head.”
“You make me feel like driving around, four windows down on a sunny day,” Marlene sings in another part of the song. “You make me feel just like a kid that’s dancing in the summer rain / You make me feel like I can be all parts of me and that’s okay.”
Marlene is currently on tour, with dates running through the end of May.
