American Idol Season 20 finalist Leah Marlene made a big announcement on Wednesday, as she revealed that she’s going on a tour of North America beginning this April. Marlene came in third place during last year’s competition.
American Idol Star Leah Marlene Announces Tour
Marlene teased on Instagram earlier this week that she had a “very exciting announcement” coming up. She asked fans to guess what it was, and at least one person got it right. They wrote, “If you say tour I’m going to loose [sic] my sh*t!”
The singer replied to the guess by writing, “might want to get yo diapers ready.” Then on Wednesday, she made the official announcement with a tour poster showing the dates. The tour kicks off April 21 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dates run through May, with stops in cities such as Nashville, Atlanta, Tampa, New York City, and Boston. Marlene will even be playing one show in Canada, in Toronto on May 22. Tickets go on sale to the public this Thursday at 10 am. However, fans can get pre-sale tickets now if they sign up for Marlene’s Patreon.

Marlene Has Performed with Fellow Idol Stars
Since her time on American Idol last year, Marlene has performed with some of her fellow contestants, including fellow Season 20 star Fritz Hager, as well as Season 16 winner Maddie Poppe. The three of them appeared at Marlene’s hometown concert in Normal, Illinois, last summer.
Last year, Marlene also relocated twice. After Idol, she moved to Los Angeles for a few months and documented the change on Instagram. She eventually decided to live in Nashville instead. The singer called it a “hard decision.”
As part of her time on the show, Marlene released a single called “Flowers.” You can stream it now, along with her 2022 album Many Colors, which features songs such as “Wisher to the Well” and “Noise.”
