American Idol is offering fans free tickets to attend the taping of Season 23’s Hollywood Week in Los Angeles. This round of the competition is when the judges narrow down the singers who made it through auditions.
American Idol Offers Tickets to Hollywood Week
The website On Camera Audiences allows fans to sign up for free tickets to the taping of various talent shows, including American Idol. As of this writing, the site has a listing for tickets to an Idol taping on Monday, September 27, at 1:45 p.m.
According to the listing, this taping will be for Season 23’s Hollywood Week, the notoriously stressful round of the competition when the singers who received a Golden Ticket in their auditions fight to stay on the show.
The minimum age to attend tapings is 8 years old. To request a ticket, you must provide your full name, date of birth, and contact information. You can also sign up to receive notifications about future tapings this season. You might even be able to attend a live show later this year.

When Does the New Season Premiere?
American Idol returns for Season 23 on ABC on Sunday, March 9. Longtime host Ryan Seacrest will be back, as well as judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. They’ll be joined by new judge Carrie Underwood, who is replacing Katy Perry on the panel.
Underwood is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her win on the show back in Season 4. She’s gone on to have a successful career in country music. This is the first time a former contestant on the show (let alone a winner) has been a judge.
The season will kick off the with the audition round, as the judges watch hopeful singers perform for their chance to receive a Golden Ticket to Hollywood. A select few contestants will also receive the coveted Platinum Ticket, which allows them to automatically skip the first part of Hollywood Week.
