‘American Idol’ Auditions Start Tomorrow In New Orleans
Reading Time: 1 minutes
The first season of the reboot of American Idol was a huge success. The show, starring Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie, went a long way in winning back a lot of that old American Idol fandom and made some new fans as well. If you want to be the next Maddie Poppe, Kelly Clarkson, or Carrie Underwood you can audition starting tomorrow!
The search for the next American Idol kicks off tomorrow in New Orleans and will continue for the next two months. Thousands of hopefuls will spend hours and hours waiting for their shot to sing in front of some producer and then, if they are REALLY lucky, they get to perform for the judges. You have to be between the ages of 15-28, so that means you were born between June 2, 1989 and June 1, 2003. They don’t want olds like me auditioning or little kids, (that’s what AGT is for).
You can pre-register by going here and maybe it will cut your wait time. The other option you have is to send in a video audition. We spoke to several of last season’s contestants that got in that way. You can submit your audition here. Good luck! Maybe we’ll be talking to some of you soon when you get on the show?
