‘AGT’ Winner Brandon Leake Wins at Voice Arts Awards 2022

America’s Got Talent season 15 winner Brandon Leake has successfully snatched a gold trophy during the Voice Arts Awards 2022. It turned out that the poet’s voice acting sealed the Best Performance for Oustanding Spoken Word or Storytelling.
Brandon Leake Seals Outstanding Spoken Word Award at SOVAS 2022
The spoken word artist went to Instagram to announce the good news to his followers. Deeming the award as one of his massive achievements, Leake is evidently proud as seen in his adorable selfie with the trophy.
“Sometimes it’s the big things that count!” he wrote. “So I won the award for ‘Outstanding Spoken Word or Storytelling Best Performance’ for my audio book ‘Unraveling’. This is a tremendous honor, and one of what I hope to be many more to come!”
Leake won behind voice actor Kristy Thomas who dubbed “Still I Rise” for the Jeremiah Program, Brooklyn Voices Rising. He also won against Susie Valerio, who showed her voice-acting skills in Tate Kids and Tabitha Ellis.
Unraveling is actually Leake’s debut poetry collection. The same book is marketed as a “universally relatable” and “surprisingly educational” for its readers and listeners. Truly, to have been recognized by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS) is an honor.
The Voice Arts Awards is one unique night to honor a community performers and craft professionals who have been part of voice acting-centered media. Essentially, this awards night is similar to Oscars, Emmys, and Tonys, made to celebrate a pool of artists who excel in their respective field categories.
