Rapper Megan Thee Stallion took to social media to clear up some rumors about a recent shooting that she was involved in. After leaving a pool party on July 15, Megan was shot in both of her feet and had to get surgery to remove the bullets. Megan Thee Stallion Held Back Tears Speaking About The Shooting
Megan was pretty much holding back tears throughout the entire Instagram Live session. She confirmed that she was shot in both of her feet and said it was the worst experience of her life. Viewers flooded the comments with well wishes after opening up about such a horrible experience. “It’s nothing to joke about,” she said at one point. She made it clear that this is not a joking matter and did not appreciate people taking to social media to make up stories about what happened. Rapper Tory Lanez was arrested on concealed weapon charges at the time of the incident, so there was tons of speculation and rumors on social media and conspiracy theories. “Thank God that the bullets didn’t touch bones. They didn’t break tendons.”

Megan continued on to say “Imagine being 25 and you don’t have both of your parents. My momma was my best friend I’m still not really over that, so you try to fill your space with a bunch of people you think is making you happy.” Both of her parents have sadly passed away but she credited them for looking out for her and saving her life during the shooting. For her, it has been a very pressing situation that she was not yet ready to talk about publicly. In the video, Megan did not explicitly say that Tory was the culprit of the shooting but according to TMZ, he is reportedly being investigated for his involvement.
She did say “Thank God for the people I have around me that are actually here for me and are my friends.” Megan implied that she has had friends that have used her and turned against her and also praised her fans for having her back through it all.

After giving some details on such a traumatic life event, Twitter erupted with praise for Megan for being so strong.
It upset some of her fans to see her so hurt and put into such a dangerous position allegedly by someone who was her friend.
Others praised her because she simply did not owe anyone an explanation but still took the time to do so because she loves her fans.

“I just y’all to know a b*tch is alive and well and strong as f*ck and you know, I’m ready to get back to regular programming with my own hot girl sh*t,” she said. She went on to say this is not going to stop her from having good energy or continuing on with her career.
