Whitney Leavitt to Leave The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
On Sunday night, Whitney Leavitt performed her last show as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway. Leavitt landed the role after her time competing on Dancing with the Stars Season 34 last year. Her dance partner, Mark Ballas, has been co-starring with her as Billy Flynn.
Leavitt announced her departure from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives during Sunday’s performance. TMZ shared a clip of the moment, in which Leavitt read a fake newspaper headline: “Whitney Leavitt Announces She’s Leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
The announcement drew cheers and applause from the Broadway crowd. Leavitt has starred on the Hulu reality show since its debut in 2024, over four seasons now. During the third season, Leavitt admitted that she returned to the show in order to have the opportunity to compete on DWTS.

Will Leavitt Appear in Season 5?
Production on Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was paused in March following news of an alleged domestic violence incident involving star Taylor Frankie Paul, whose season of The Bachelorette was canceled over the situation.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show’s fifth season had already started filming, with the cast visiting Leavitt for one of her Broadway performances in February. The outlet reports that whether or not Leavitt will be a full-time cast member in Season 5, or if she will only make guest appearances, is not yet known.
