Chloe MK’s New Single “To Be Young”
Last week, Chloe released a new single called “To Be Young,” which is part of an EP called Fantasy. She told NYLON that she calls her sound “internet pop,” and said she wanted to release a track that counteracts the typical songs about how youth is “fun and light-hearted.”
“And I think that’s true,” she said, “but I don’t feel like there’s a lot of songs about how hard it is when you don’t really know who you are or what you want, and you feel like you have to apologize for simply just existing.”
What Other Music Has Chloe Released?
This is Chloe’s third single since appearing on The Voice. Her coronation song on the show was “Wish I Didn’t Love You,” followed by “Come This Far” in 2018. A year and a half after winning, she has yet to release an album, which has caused some friction with her fans.
“STOP BULLYING IT’S 2019 YOU’LL GET MUSIC SOON,” she wrote on Instagram in January, responding to fans who she says were “harassing” her for not releasing new music. Now that Chloe MK has put out another single and announced live performances, maybe fans will be satisfied. Her new look and name should be an indication of much more to come!
