STOP BULLYING ME! ‘The Voice’ Winner Chloe Kohanski Pleads With Fans
The Voice season 13 winner Chloe Kohanski is crying out to fans to stop bullying her! On Thursday (Jan. 9) the 25-year-old songstress took to Instagram to air it ALL out…and here’s what she had to say.
Basically Chloe’s message is telling fans to back off and hold their horses because music is right around the corner! Apparently adults have been taking unnecessary jabs at the young songstress over her career.
We have to admit calling someone a failure is a HUGE no-no! We also TOTALLY side with Chloe on taking the time needed for her creative process. Also can’t we all just get along? We really feel for Chloe…haters be-gone! Unfortunately, it looks like fan expectations have struck a cord with the Tennessee native, and sis had time to clap back today!
Fans should understand that adding another layer of pressure isn’t going to help with Chloe’s creative process. What a lot of viewers don’t realize is how much work it actually takes to make an album.
On the other hand, we completely understand why fans are curious about the rising stars album. Living up to her title Chloe is a true talent, so I don’t think its unreasonable for fans to want to hear from her!
We have to admit, Chloe does have a reputation of lashing out at fans via Twitter. The Voice champ has also deleted her Instagram at least twice…but that doesn’t mean that we think people should be coming for Chloe! Art is something that can’t be rushed and music is no different.
After winning The Voice Chloe hit the ground running. The former Starbucks barista even dropped a video in the summer for ‘Come This Far’ to give fans a little taste of what they’d been missing.
Unfortunately, fans didn’t react to the video in the most positive way.
This most likely further pushed Chloe Kohanski to defend herself and her career.
This isn’t the first time Chloe has used social media as a platform to have her voice heard. One fan asked, “Music? Where’s it at?” to which Chloe responded-
According to Chlo, she’s been working REALLY hard this past year. We all know the importance of having a good team around you, and it looks like Chloe has finally found that team to rally around her and create good music! I can’t wait to hear the BOPS that Chloe has in store for us.
During an interview with our Talent Recap correspondent Jack Tomas, Chloe spilled ALL of The Voice tea!
We’ve all heard of the winners curse right? Chloe Kohanski promised not to disappear as A LOT of competition show winners tend to do. The jury is still out as to why this happens, but hey it’s a fact. The powerhouse even stated that,”on paper it’s like what happens to the winners of The Voice?” Chloe admits that the real work begins AFTER the big win.
Chloe tells fans, “Okay guys listen…I promise, that I’m gonna do everything that I can possibly do to make sure that I actually make music, that’s the goal here,” spoken like a true artist.
One could argue that these artists just aren’t given a fair shot at stardom. If you think about it, there are 2 Voice winners per year. Voice history proves that if your career doesn’t pop almost immediately after your win, then you may be facing an uphill battle. So the question is…are these artists actually given a fair chance at an amazing career?
Season 15 of The Voice crowned Chevel Shepherd as its victor. But wait…season 16 of The Voice is LITERALLY right around the corner. So what does this mean for Chevel?
We know our girl Kelly Clarkson will stick by Chevel’s side. However, sooner than later the pop-princess is going to have to focus her attention on a new set of hopefuls for season 16. Basically, this gave Chevel a 2 month window of undivided attention with her mentor, but is that really enough time? All of the coaches wear MANY hats and now we’re left wondering if they really have the time to cater to each winner.
It makes us wonder if this is what happened with Chloe. After her win, Chloe admitted she hadn’t met with Republic Records and wasn’t doing so until the new year. However this is the exact time frame in which she should’ve been the main focus. ESPECIALLY because a new season was gearing up to begin just one month later.
Some of our fav artists have come from The Voice stage, and we need to do everything in our power to make sure these talented artists don’t slip through the cracks!
