The Voice Season 22 artists Parijita Bastola and Kique recently shared some exciting news on Instagram. The singers will be performing a show together later this month in Parijita’s home state of Maryland. The friends posted about the upcoming performance on Instagram.
The Voice Stars Parijita Bastola, Kique to Perform Together
Parijita posted a photo of her and Kique to announce the show. She shared that the performance will take place this Friday, December 30, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Sullivan’s Cove in Severna Park, Maryland. The 17-year-old teased that the show would “be very very special.”
The singer also posted a video of her and Kique performing “Scars to Your Beautiful” by Alessia Cara, which she sang on The Voice in the Top 10. The pair forged a friendship despite being on different teams. (Parijita was on Team Legend, and Kique was on Team Gwen.)
Kique also posted about the upcoming show on his own Instagram account, sharing another photo with Parijita and writing that he’s “been so busy creating new music content.” The 19-year-old added, “If there is anyone in this world I could choose to sing with it 100% would be Parijita.”
The singer wrote that Parijita has “taught me so much about myself and is a constant reminder to push myself.” His coach Gwen Stefani commented on the post, writing, “proud of u!!”

The Pair Sparked Dating Rumors During the Show
Fans noticed that Parijita and Kique were getting close during Season 22, which inevitably led to speculation that they were dating. However, the pair has not confirmed that they’re in a relationship, although they’re clearly still close after the show.
Both singers made it to the Top 10 this season, but Kique was unfortunately eliminated from the competition before he could make it to the Top 8. Parijita was then eliminated before making it to the Top 5, in a shocking results show that angered many fans.
The pair’s fellow contestants shared their excitement over the announcement that they’re performing together. Season 22 runner-up Bodie commented on Parijita’s Instagram post, “STOP.” Meanwhile, Top 5 finalist Omar Jose Cardona wrote on Kique’s post, “Wish I could be there!”
