‘The Voice’ Results: Team Blake Leads Top 5 Amid Shocking Eliminations

The Voice Season 22 returned on Tuesday night for another live results show, as the Top 8 was whittled down to the Top 5 ahead of next week’s finale. The show featured some shocking results, as three Team Blake artists were voted through by America, and some seriously talented singers battled for the final spot in the Instant Save.

Which Artists Are in the Top 5 on The Voice Results Show?

America voted through four of the Top 5 artists after Monday night’s Semifinals performances. All three of Team Blake’s artists (Bryce Leatherwood, Bodie, and Brayden Lape) made it through based on America’s vote. Team Camila artist Morgan Myles was also voted through.

That meant that Team Legend’s Parijita Bastola, Kim Cruse, and Omar Jose Cardona, as well as Team Gwen’s Justin Aaron, had to perform in the Instant Save for a last chance to make it into the Top 5. This was shocking, as all four of these singers gave amazing performances on Monday.

Tuesday’s results show also featured performances from coaches Blake Shelton and John Legend, who performed their songs “No Body” and “Nervous,” respectively.

Who Won the Instant Save?

For the Instant Save, each of the four remaining artists chose one song to perform. Parijita Bastola sang “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele, Kim Cruse took on “All By Myself” by Celine Dion, Justin Aaron performed “Made a Way” by Travis Greene, and Omar Jose Cardona sang “You and I” by Lady Gaga.

The vote was open for five minutes, as fans chose which of the four artists they wanted to move on to next week’s show. When the vote closed, host Carson Daly announced that Omar Jose Cardona won the Instant Save vote and made it into the Top 5.

That means we unfortunately had to say goodbye to Parijita Bastola, Kim Cruse, and Justin Aaron. It also means that Gwen Stefani is the only coach without any artists in the Top 5. Blake Shelton has three, while John Legend and Camila Cabello each have one.

The Voice Season 22 will return next week for the finale, as America will decide who will be named the winner. Do you agree with Tuesday’s results? Let us know in the comments below.

I’m shocked and saddened at what took place tonight on The Voice… Both Kim and Omar should be in the final. The Four strongest Singers who happened to be dark skin, were left in shock at what was transpiring in front of their eyes. I may not be watching this show in the future… It’s too painful.

It’s a singing contest not a pretty boy contest

I don’t feel that Omar should have been in the bottom, he out sang everybody. I think the voice is rigged. I will continue to watch Omar the rest of this season, but I will never watch the voice again.

Justin and Omar definitely didn’t belong in the bottom 4, especially based on their performances last night. Omar really deserves to be a finalist.

Is this show rigged so that Blake can leave with a bang? Wow, poor diversity at the end😳

Absolutely no way Braydon belonged in the finals! Compared to all the other Voice’s and performances that transpired, that was a joke and entirely disappointing. He took Justin’s or Kim’s place. My heart hurts for those immensely talented performers. I hope someone helps their career’s flourish!!

It’s crazy this show is called the voice and the best 4 power house singers had to battle to to make it was sad that people voted for the wrong reason besides Morgan none of the other finalists could sing at their range or attempt to sing the songs that they chose their all great singers but the best vocalists didn’t make it

Morgan, Kim and Omar were hands down the best voices of the evening, and once again Sir Blake’s followers made all of the difference in the finalist selection. I would love to have cold beers with Blake, and even attend his Barmagedon show in Nashville, but unfortunately this seasons show positively became a Blake Shelton popularity contest and a few of the best voices were sent home. Very disappointing!

Pretty much done with the Voice!!! Results were exactly opposite of what they should have been. The four singing for elimination should have been the first four voted in, and it’s not even close!!😢😢🤬🤬

I was at the Voice tonight for the live show and cried I cannot believe the results! There were a lot of shocked fans including myself. This is definitely a popularity contest amongst the judges and not the VOICE!!-

I won’t go so far as to say that the show is rigged or racist but it is very disappointing. The best voices aside from Morgan wound up in the bottom 4. Omar and Parajita we’re my personal favorites but I would have preferred seeing all of them in the finals. Not being a fan of country music I don’t see the great talent in Bryce or Brayden. But they are cute and “all American” looking. As John said, the program is called The Voice and this didn’t live up to its name.

I believe the four fighting for a Save should all have been Finalists. While having some talent and appeal, I do not believe Brayden, Bryce, and Bodie had the vocal quality to be in the Finals. I had thought it would come down to Omar and Justin for the champion, but Kim’s Monday performance was outstanding…..and left me standing….and clapping.

no way -SOS- maga voters delux- I call da show Country Voice and if the money grubbing execs have any clue – intro- The Urban Voice a seperate show. So many talented singers have been denied a chance for a legit career.
All 4 are more talented than the others

Is there any modicum of reason that put Omar in the bottom? Help me understand.

When you see how few winners truly go on to make it after winning, you see how unrepresentative these people are of what America truly prizes. 3 of my 4 personal favorites wound up in the bottom 4. All 4 voted through by “America” were white contestants, some with talent, some without. All of the bottom 4 are black or brown. This is not a talent competition. I hope the 3 who left last night go on to have blazing hot careers.

Don’t like the results. It appears the vote simple favors coach Shelton ignoring the most vocally talented. As John Legend underscored: The show is called “The Voice.” Two of B;lake’s finalist have very average voices. Nothing special.

It is very disturbing that the key powerhouse singers, Justin and Kim, did not make it to the top five. I agree with others that Blake loyalists voted according to their deep devotion to the coach rather than by assessing the total merits of his singers. Two of them were definitely weaker than the other finalists. I feel sad that vocalists of color who demonstrated exceptional talent and performing skills had to endure this kind of feedback from the American public. It is also important for very young Voice voters to remember-Assess singers for the beauty of their voice and… Read more »
