Meet Parijita Bastola, The Singer with Powerful Vocals From Team Legend

Parijita Bastola is the singer who made John Legend turn around almost immediately during her The Voice blind audition. Her powerful and unique vocals set her apart from the rest of the team members, which is truly saying something.
Parijita is the Teen with a Golden Voice Going to The Live Playoffs
The youngest member of Team Legend definitely doesn’t lack singing experience. In fact, Parijita boasts arguably some of the most impressive vocals from the whole team. The Nepalese-American singer became an instant sensation on The Voice and has a real chance at winning.
At only 17 years old, Parijita delivered a performance worthy of the four chair turn she received during the Blind Auditions. She sang a beautiful rendition of “Jealous” by Labrinth that impressed each of the coaches. Although she was able to pick, Parijita had already picked a coach with a little help from her father. Her dad suggested that Legend was the perfect coach for her, since her favorite genres are R&B and soul.
Unsurprisingly, Parijita stole the show during her Knockout Round performance. The young singer proved that she had talent beyond her years when she sang “I’d Rather Go Blind,” by Etta James. The coaches marveled at her wonderful vocals which Legend has full confidence in, eventually picking Parijita as the winner.
Team Legend’s Parijita is certainly one of the frontrunners of the team and can lead them to victory during the live playoffs.
She’s the Lead Singer of a Band
Parijita’s vast musical background comes from her experience as lead singer for the band Bastola, named after her. Along with Parijita, other members are Jack Slote, Jesse Kegley, Bennett Terhunt, and Dylan Hood.
“We wanted to make it enjoyable for other people, what blues can sound like and what blues can look like.” Parijita said. “It’s in order to refresh and incorporate blues into the next generation.”
Bastola typically plays Blues and R&B tunes, featuring covers of Rihanna, Amy Winehouse, and Aretha Franklin. The band was recently selected to perform at the 2022 International Blues Challenge.

The young lady is super talented and am praying for her to win,she really has to please america vote for her,if i had a way out from Afica i would have voted for PB
