‘The Voice’ Season 20 Contestants Get to Work Releasing New Music

The Voice Season 20 only wrapped filming on May 25 with Cam Anthony declared as the winner. The contestants have already begun releasing new music and teasing big things to come. For most of them, the show has given them the platform to finally chase their dreams and pursue music full time.
Season 20 ‘The Voice’ Contestants Tease New Music or Already Put Music Out
1. Emma Caroline
Team Blake singer Emma Caroline got Blake Shelton’s save during the Battles in Season 20. Her star quality was clear from the start. Her new single “Lie” will be released on August 13 on all streaming platforms. The song was produced by fellow Season 20 contestant Keegan Ferrell.
2. Carolina Rial
Carolina Rial, the angelic singer from New Jersey, is a releasing the song that made her journey on The Voice possible. She auditioned for the show with Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” and landed a spot on John Legend’s team. The official full studio version of “Stay With Me” is out this Thursday, July 22 and is available for pre-save.
3. JD Casper
Team Kelly singer JD Casper’s journey on the show was cut way too short. But that did not stop him from working on his debut record straight away. The first single, “New Home,” will be released Friday, July 23 on all streaming platforms.
4. Pete Mroz
Shelton’s former bandmate Pete Mroz had quite an epic reunion on the show this season. Pete has taken on the role of a behind-the-scenes reporter with his weekly Instagram Live sessions. His new single “A Song For You” written by Leon Russell is out now.
5. Kenzie Wheeler
Country crooner Kenzie Wheeler earned a spot on Kelly Clarkson’s team on Season 20, which propelled him all the way to the finale. He addressed the constant questions about an upcoming album in an Instagram post. He does “have plans to start working on new music real soon.” You can listen to his 2018 album Dover on streaming platforms in the meantime.
6. Savanna Woods
Savanna Woods got the lucky save from guest coach Kelsea Ballerini during the Battles against Corey Ward. She has been posting live performances non-stop on Instagram since her elimination. She will be recording a song in the studio with her band in August along with five other songs. By September, she will have almost 20 songs to release for her fans.
7. Avery Roberson
Avery Roberson was stolen by Ballerini during the Battles. In May, he released his new single “Ringtone” directly after his elimination.
8. Halley Greg
Team Kelly singer Halley Greg has been teasing new music since the show wrapped filming. Her Trickster EP will be released on July 29. A second full album will be released later this year.
9. Rio Doyle
Teen singer Rio Doyle impressed Legend with her rendition of Adele’s “When We Were Young” for her Blind Audition. She released her newest single “Unloved” on all streaming platforms on July 2.
10. Dana Monique
Dana Monique was a fan favorite on Nick Jonas‘s team this season. She recently recorded her rendition of “The Best” from Tina Turner’s album, Foreign Affair (2021 Remaster) with AVLI.
11. Devan Blake Jones
Team Nick’s Devan Blake Jones won the Four-Way Knockout this season against some incredible artists. He hinted that he will be dropping a single and a music video soon. Salwa Owens serves as the creative director, choreographer, and manager of the entire process.
12. Keegan Ferrell
Keegan performed Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved” for his Blind Audition on The Voice. He landed a spot on Adam Levine’s bestie, Shelton’s team. After his audition, Keegan released a full-length version and music video for his cover of “She Will Be Loved.”
13. Raine Stern
After her elimination in the Knockouts, Raine Stern shot the cover photo for her upcoming album. She also released the music video for the song “I’m Not Them.”
14. Lindsay Joan
Team Nick singer Lindsay Joan had a very memorable performance in the Battles taking on “Rewrite the Stars.” She released her single “Human Now” on all streaming platforms after her elimination.
15. Bradley Sinclair
Nashville singer Bradley Sinclair earned a spot on Team Nick in Season 20. He released his single “Leave You Wanting More” in June.
16. Connor Christian
In the Knockouts this season Connor Christian went up against Cam which ultimately led to his elimination. The rocker released his single “Say” on July 4. Keegan was also the producer behind this fellow contestants song as well. This is one of four new tracks that are coming soon.
