Cam Anthony Does Livestream After ‘The Voice’ Win
“I just wanted to say, thank you all from the bottom of my heart,” Cam told fans at the start of the stream. “This has been an amazing journey, and to be able to experience this with such amazing people has been outrageous.”
Cam shared that he teared up on stage after his win, because he compared how comfortable he feels on stage with “where I came from.” He added that he hasn’t had a chance to “sit in it all” yet, but called this the “end of an era, and the start of a new one.”
The singer also added his mother to the livestream. She held back tears as she spoke about how “dedicated” her son is, sharing that he would be a winner whether or not he got the trophy. She added that she is “so proud” of him, telling him he “put in the work” for every performance.
Cam started tearing up as he spoke to his mother. She said she wished she could be there with him in person to give him a hug. The singer also brought on his brother Carter, whom he described as his “partner in crime.”
