‘The Voice’ Results: Who’s Going To The Season 19 Finals?

The Voice semifinals results for Season 19 aired live on Tuesday night, as the competition was once again cut in half. Viewers’ overnight votes and the Instant Save decided which artists would go on to the finals.


On Monday night, the Top 9 performed one solo song each, in addition to three trio performances. The viewers’ votes put one artist from each team straight through to the finals. The remaining five artists performed during tonight’s results show for the Instant Save vote. Check out tonight’s results below.

‘The Voice’ Semifinals Results

Team Kelly Results

On Team Kelly, the artist who received the most votes to go to the finals was Desz. That meant that Cami Clune was up for the Instant Save.

For the Instant Save, Cami performed “When the Party’s Over” by Billie Eilish. Kelly praised her storytelling and the way her voice broke during the song.

Team Legend Results

On Team Legend, the artist who received the most votes to go to the finals was John Holiday. That meant that Bailey Rae and Tamara Jade were up for the Instant Save.

For the Instant Save, Bailey performed “Your Cheatin’ Heart” by Hank Williams. John said her “voice sounded splendid.” He added that he’s had “so much fun” working with her.

Tamara performed “Feeling Good,” famously sung by Nina Simone. John said it was “incredible,” complimenting her “power” and “soul.” He said her personality shines through.

Team Blake Results

On Team Blake, the artist who received the most votes to go to the finals was Jim Ranger. That meant that Ian Flanigan was up for the Instant Save.

For the Instant Save, Ian performed “Anymore” by Travis Tritt. Blake said he believed that America would vote him through in the finale, calling him a “once in a lifetime voice.”

Team Gwen Results

On Team Gwen, the artist who received the most votes to go to the finals was Carter Rubin. That meant that Ben Allen was up for the Instant Save.

For the Instant Save, Ben performed “Prayed For You” by Matt Stell. Gwen said he has “so many different sides” and is “classic” but “current.”

Kelly Clarkson & Brett Eldredge

The Voice coach Kelly teamed up with this country star to get us in the holiday spirit, singing their song “Under the Mistletoe.” Brett wore a black and white tuxedo while Kelly donned a frilly red gown.

John Legend

Coach John Legend performed his song “Wild” during the results show. He was accompanied by several backup singers and a drummer, on a stage covered in blue lights.

‘The Voice’ Instant Save Results

The vote was open for five minutes during the show, as viewers were tasked with choosing which of the five Instant Save artists they wanted to put through to the finals.

At the end of the show, Carson Daly announced that the winner of the Instant Save was Ian Flanigan! He’ll join the other four finalists next week in the finale.
