‘The Voice’ Top 9: Blake Is ‘Jealous’ As Gwen’s Artist Sings To Her [VOTE]

The Voice Season 19 returned on Monday night for the semifinals, as the Top 9 performed twice each. Their first performance was dedicated to their biggest fans, introduced by viewers at home.
The artists also broke off into trios to deliver group performances. Now it’s up to the viewers to vote for their favorites. Voting is open until Tuesday at 7 am ET, and we’ll find out who made it to the finals during tomorrow’s results show.

WATCH ‘The Voice’ Top 9 Performances
Jim Ranger (Team Blake)
Blake’s choice for a save last week returned to the stage to perform “Without You” by Harry Nilsson, dedicated to his church in California, as well as his dad. John Legend said he was “moved,” adding that it was Jim’s best performance. Blake Shelton said he was “speechless” over the performance.
Cami Clune (Team Kelly)
Kelly’s save from last week performed “The Joke” by Brandi Carlile, dedicated to her mom. Gwen Stefani said she sounded like an angel with a “pure” voice, saying, “I wanna be you when I grow up.” Kelly Clarkson praised Cami’s way of telling a story with her voice.
Carter Rubin, Desz, and Jim Ranger
These three artists from Team Gwen, Team Kelly, and Team Blake teamed up to perform “Will It Go Round in Circles” by Billy Preston.
Ben Allen (Team Gwen)
The artist Gwen Stefani stole from Blake Shelton performed a song by his former coach, “All About Tonight.” He dedicated the performance to Blake and Gwen, and even changed the lyrics to refer to “that girl Gwen.” Blake said he was “jealous” and “blown away.” Gwen said it would be funny if they won the show after he performed Blake’s song.
John Holiday (Team Legend)
John performed “Fix You” by Coldplay, dedicated to his grandmother. (John Legend also shared what the song meant to him and his wife Chrissy Teigen after losing their baby.) Kelly said she was struggling not to cry, while John Legend was in tears. He praised it for not being perfect and focusing on the emotions.
Tamara Jade, Ian Flanigan, and Ben Allen
These three artists from Team Legend, Team Blake, and Team Gwen teamed up to perform “Tulsa Time” by Don Williams.
‘THE VOICE’ HOLIDAY CELEBRATION REVISITS A ‘SPECIAL’ PERFORMANCE FOR BLAKE & GWEN
Desz (Team Kelly)
This singer thanked her fans for voting her through to this week. She performed “Don’t Let Go (Love)” by En Vogue, dedicating it to anyone who’s struggled with body image. John said he “felt the fire” and loved Desz’s higher notes. Kelly said it might be her favorite performance she’s had on her team, adding that she wants to be her backup singer.
Bailey Rae (Team Legend)
Bailey sang “Georgia on My Mind” by Ray Charles, saying it reminded her of her small town in Oklahoma. Blake praised her for being “old-school country,” calling it “refreshing.” John complimented her confidence, and said he’s “proud” to be her coach.
Gwen Stefani Performs Her New Song
The coach performed her new single “Let Me Reintroduce Myself.” The performance featured backup dancers and a screen showing references to Gwen’s past career.

These three artists from Team Legend and Team Kelly teamed up to perform “Pompeii” by Bastille.
Ian Flanigan (Team Blake)
Ian performed “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan, as suggested by Kelly. He dedicated it to his fiancée Ayla. Kelly told him he could sing any song and make it seem like his own. Blake gave Kelly credit for suggesting he sing that song, calling it an “incredible idea.”
Tamara Jade (Team Legend)
John’s save from last week returned this week to perform “Let It Be” by the Beatles, dedicated to her coach. Gwen said she’s Tamara’s “biggest fan,” complimenting her personality. John called her performance “stunning,” saying she’s an “unstoppable force.”
Carter Rubin (Team Gwen)
Carter performed “Rainbow Connection” by The Muppets, dedicated to his brother Jack. Gwen was brought to tears by the performance, saying it reminded her of singing to her children. She called it “flawless” and said it was “God answering my prayers.”
