Sophie Turner has reportedly dropped her claims of “wrongful retention” against her estranged husband Joe Jonas over custody of their two daughters. People reports that the former couple has reached a custody agreement.
Sophie Turner Drops Claim Against Joe Jonas
In September, Turner sued Jonas for wrongful retention, claiming that he was withholding their two daughters’ passports and not allowing them to go England. This week, a U.S. judge approved to dismiss Turner’s filing “with prejudice, and without attorneys’ fees, expenses, costs and/or disbursements awarded to either party.”
People reports that Turner and Jonas’ parenting agreement was approved in the UK on January 11. The ex-couple had reached a temporary custody agreement about their daughters last year, which lasted through the holidays.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK,” they shared in a statement about the arrangement. “We look forward to being great co-parents.”

Jonas Filed for Divorce in September
In September of last year, it was reported that Jonas had filed for divorce from Turner after four years of marriage. The Jonas Brothers star and Game of Thrones actress tied the knot in June 2019. They have since welcomed two daughters together, aged 3 and 1.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the couple wrote in a joint statement. “There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
Since then, both Turner and Jonas appear to have moved on with new romances — Turner with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, and Jonas with former Miss Teen USA Stormi Bree.
