Randy Jackson Remembers ‘American Idol’ Boys’ Weekend in Las Vegas

Apparently, even busy American Idol judges can squeeze in one boys’ weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada. Randy Jackson recently talked about the time he went to Sin City together with Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest.
Randy Jackson Spent One Las Vegas Weekend with Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest
Sitting down for an interview with The Kelly Clarkson Show, Jackson confirmed that he once had a “boy-mitzvah” weekend with Cowell and Seacrest. However, contrary to the whole Las Vegas vibe, their bonding seemed to have been boring more than wild. When Clarkson asked about this quality time, Jackson jokingly displayed a cocky demeanor.
“You know look. I mean Kells, look man, look, you know,” he said. “I called it our very own boy mitzvah. Boys attempting to still try to turn the corner to man. I can’t speak for Simon and Ryan, but I’m definitely a man now.”
The daytime talk show host, however, guessed that their bonding weekend was “either crazy or spent at a spa.” The public can’t tell for sure what happened, but it’s nonetheless good to know that the three took some time for distraction.
Madonna Once Stole Her Glasses for a Music Video
In the same episode, the show flashed a photo of Jackson in a group picture with Madonna. The American Idol judge then recalled a cute story about his glasses and the pop queen. Interestingly, Madonna greatly liked the same fashion piece that she has taken them for filming of a music video.
“She saw ’em and they were in the next video and I’m like, ‘what happened to my shades yo?’ What the hell is going on here?” he said.
Ultimately, Jackson treats this memory as something to treasure. According to her, Madonna is one artist that’s loved by everybody and that she’s “amazing.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Jackson also promoted his game show on Fox, Name That Tune. According to him, there will be a few American Idol alums that would be guests on the series.
