Like the judges on Britain’s Got Talent, hosting duo Ant and Dec also have the power to send an act straight to the live shows using the Golden Buzzer. It’s thus fair to say that the pair’s selection of who deserves the reward is one of the most anticipated moments on the series.

1. MB14, Season 16
French beatboxer Mohamed ‘MB14’ Belkhir joined Britain’s Got Talent season 16 when he was 28. During his audition, he recorded sections of his voice and playing them over through a loop pedal. With his manifest expertise in the field, Ant and Dec decided to send him directly to the Semi-Finals.
2. Jasmine Elcock, Season 10
Jasmine Elcock stepped on the Britain’s Got Talent stage in season 10 as a young singer. Her audition consisted of belting out Cher’s “Believe.” Such performance apparently convinced the hosting duo to press the Golden Buzzer for her.
3. Matt Edwards, Season 11
Matt Edwards participated in season 11 of Britain’s Got Talent as a magic act. When asked how he was different from other magicians, he said his “type of magic I perform isn’t sleight of hand, it’s a little bit crazy.” After his audition, he received the Golden Buzzer from Ant and Dec.
4. Keiichi Iwasaki, Season 15
Keiichi Iwasaki is a Japanese magician from season 15 of Britain’s Got Talent. His audition consisted of a series of magic tricks involving chopsticks and a deck of cards. After his impressive performance, Ant and Dec granted him their Golden Buzzer.
5. Boyband, Season 9
Boyband is a dance troupe who joined season nine of Britain’s Got Talent. Ahead of their audition, they were introduced as a pop band, then surprising the judges when they revealed that they were, in fact, a dance troupe. Upon their lively performance of “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, Ant and Dec.
6. Alexa Lauenburger, The Champions Season 1
After winning Germany’s Got Talent, Alexa Lauenburger was a dog act joined Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions season one. She was 11 years old when she participated on the show. She later received Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer, thus immediately advancing through the finals.
