Got Talent Golden Buzzers are not only meant for extremely emotional and intensely fascinating acts. Over the years, the coveted Golden Buzzer had also been given to talents that were whimsy and humorous enough to entertain the whole crowd.


We’ve listed some of the top Golden Buzzer auditions on Got Talent competitions to date. If you want to tickle your funny bone, go ahead and keep scrolling.

1. Matt Edwards

Matt Edwards participated on Britain’s Got Talent during season 11 of the show as a magician. Prior to his audition performance, he differentiated himself from other magicians, saying that “the type of magic I perform isn’t sleight of hand, it’s a little bit crazy.” True enough, he convinced Ant & Dec to press their Golden Buzzer after dramatizing a “toast.”

2. Mike E. Winfield

Coming back “funnier” and “more confident” on AGT All-Stars, Mike E. Winfield surprisingly received Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer. Before his performance, the crowd welcomed the funnyman by giving him a heartwarming standing ovation. With his hilarious banters during his stand-up routine, Winfield became the first comedian to receive the music mogul’s Golden Buzzer.

3. Dustin’s Dojo

Dustin’s Dojo was a comedy karate duo who joined America’s Got Talent during its season nine. His audition comprised breaking boards, breaking a record for the most full-extension punches in 60 seconds. Heidi Klum and Mel B buzzed the act but Howie Mandel sent him to the Judgment Week by pressing his Golden Buzzer.

4. Christian Spridon

Singing “Sexbomb” by Mousse T. and Tom Jones during his audition, Christian Spridon received buzzes from Simon, Amanda and Alesha. David Walliams attempted to protect his buzzer from the three but failed to do so. Hence, as a remedy, he just pressed his Golden Buzzer.

5. Piff The Magic Dragon

Piff the Magic Dragon is a magician who joined Season 10 of America’s Got Talent. His audition consisted of inviting Heidi Klum on the stage to sign a playing card. With the help of his dog Mr. Piffles, Piff managed to reveal the card in an unopened can of dog food. Guest judge Neil Patrick Harris was simply impressed, thus pressing his Golden Buzzer to send him straight to the Judge Cuts.

6. Lorraine Bowen

Belting out and DJing her self-written song entitled “The Crumble Song,” Lorraine Bowen managed to plaster a smile on the crowd’s faces. Simon and Amanda Holden weren’t impressed, unfortunately. Thus, David Walliams did her a favor and pressed his Golden Buzzer, sending her to the Semi-Finals.

7. Donchez

British-born Jamaican-raised man Donchez Dacres is a singer who participated on Britain’s Got Talent season 12. During his audition, he performed his original song entitled “Wiggle Wine,” prompting the whole crowd, including all judges, to dance along. Impressed by his “golden sunshine” energy, Walliams sent him straight to the Semi-Finals through the Golden Buzzer.

8. Axel Blake

Axel Blake was a Property Maintenance employee when he joined season 15 of Britain’s Got Talent. For his audition, he made remarks about the London Underground, contactless credit cards and relationships. Dazzled by his sense of humor, Cowell didn’t hesitate to press his Golden Buzzer.

9. Ben Trigger

Ben Trigger was a burlesque dancer from Season 14 of America’s Got Talent. During his audition, he danced and stripped to Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Boogie Wonderland”. At the end of his performance, lay down on the Golden Buzzer, being the first person to press the coveted buzzer for himself.

10. Paul Zerdin

Paul Zerdin was the comic ventriloquist who competed in America’s Got Talent season 10. During the Judge Cuts, Zerdin performed with his baby puppet Baby and told him the story of Little Red Riding Hood. With the two’s humorous dialogue, Marlon Wayans decided to send him immediately through the Quarterfinals by pressing his Golden Buzzer.
