Nashville is the Go-To Place to Spot ‘American Idol’ Contestants
Beane posted a photoset from his trip that has given all of us American Idol fans some serious FOMO. In one selfie, the singer from Massachusetts poses with Cassandra Coleman, Graham DeFranco, Anilee List, Wyatt Pike, and Andrea Valles. Cassandra, Wyatt, Graham, Christina “Redd” Daugherty, and Season 18’s Franklin Boone just performed a show at The Mulehouse with their friends in attendance.
In another photo, Season 19 winner Chayce Beckham gives the camera a smoldering stare while Beane’s smile lights up the room. Chayce just made the move to Nashville from California. Graham also moved to Nashville after becoming a fan-favorite on the show this year.
Season 19 heartthrob Hunter Metts is also from Tennesee, in case any Idol fans are hoping to spot some of their favorite contestants out on the town. Beane even got to hang out with Season 14 runner-up Clark Beckham who is from Nashville. Make sure to have your camera ready if you are stopping by one of the city’s iconic music venues.
Why Have All of These Contestants Flocked to Nashville?
Nashville is not only a hub for songwriting but also a haven for country music stars. Season 18 contestants Grace Leer and Dillon James made the move to Music City after finding success on the show. It’s home to some of the most well-known music venues like The Bluebird Cafe and Mercy Lounge. Snagging a gig at a popping music venue is a huge deal.
The most coveted stage of all is the Grand Ole Opry, the place where country music is celebrated and performed in front of the most energetic audiences. Season 17 American Idol winner Laine Hardy will be making his Grand Ole Opry debut on August 28. It truly is an honor to perform on this legendary stage. All contestants, past and current hope to get there someday. Season 19’s Alex Miller was even told by Luke Bryan that he would get him a gig at the Grand Ole Opry.
Nashville is basically the land of opportunity. Coming off of such a high on American Idol could put some contestants in a rut. Other’s like the finalists of Season 19 are all hungry for success and will stop at nothing to reach their end goals.
