The Voice will be kicking off Season 26 Knockouts next week, and some pretty famous faces will be appearing as Mega Mentors during the round. The show just announced that Jennifer Hudson and Sting will be this season’s celebrity guests.
The Voice Mega Mentors Revealed Ahead of Knockouts
On Monday, The Voice announced on social media that Sting and Jennifer Hudson will serve as this season’s Mega Mentors. However, eagle-eyed fans already spotted the news in an episode description provided by NBC, which appeared on The Futon Critic ahead of the announcement.
The published press release revealed that the stars will appear during this season’s three-way Knockouts. The news was shared on the show’s subreddit, where fans expressed their excitement about the names.
Jennifer Hudson is, of course, no stranger to The Voice. The former American Idol star served as a judge on the American version of the show for Seasons 13 and 15, as well as the UK version of the show for seasons 6 through 8.
Sting is newer to The Voice family, although his songs have been covered by artists on the show. The former lead singer of The Police recently debuted his first single in three years and kicked off a new tour of North America.

What to Expect from the Knockouts
The Season 26 Battles will wrap up on Monday night, as the coaches further narrow down their teams. The show will be off on Tuesday night to make room for presidential election coverage on NBC, but it will be back the following Monday, November 11, for the start of the three-way Knockouts.
In this round, each coach will put their remaining artists into groups of three. The artists in each group will deliver a solo performance, and their coach will decide who they want to keep on their team. This season, each coach will have the opportunity to save one of their own artists from elimination, and to steal one eliminated artist from another coach’s team.
Along with the coaches, the Mega Mentors will help the artists prepare for their performances in the Knockout round. Mega Mentors in past seasons have included Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and even current coaches Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg.
