The talented Filipino singer who won Pilipinas Got Talent in 2011 and competed on AGT: The Champions in 2020, Marcelito Pomoy, recently had fans worried about his health after a cryptic Instagram post. However, Pomoy has now given his fans a much-needed health update, assuring his fans that he’s going to be just fine.

In a new post, he revealed that he had undergone shockwave treatment for kidney stones, which were causing him discomfort. He expressed his appreciation for his fans’ support and well wishes.

The shockwave treatment that Pomoy underwent is a non-invasive procedure that uses high-energy sound waves to break up kidney stones into smaller pieces. Which can then be passed out of the body through urination.

Pomoy’s fans responded to his health update with an outpouring of support, leaving comments expressing relief and well wishes. Many fans shared their own experiences with kidney stones or offered advice on how to prevent them.


As of now, Pomoy is recovering and hoping to avoid further procedures. He expressed his appreciation for his fans’ support and well wishes, saying “Thank you so so much to all of you!” We wish him a speedy and complete recovery and look forward to hearing more from this talented performer in the future.
