Is Taylor Swift pregnant? That’s what some fans seem to think after seeing photos of the singer during a recent outing with her bestie Selena Gomez. Others are shooting down the rumors and arguing that it’s inappropriate to speculate.
Is Taylor Swift Pregnant? What Fans Are Saying
This past weekend, Swift and Gomez were spotted at the Monkey Bar restaurant in New York City. Photos of the two friends leaving together were posted on the gossip-focused Instagram account Deuxmoi, sparking debate in the comments.
Some fans suggested that Swift could be hiding a baby bump under her boxy Gucci top and matching mini skirt. However, other fans were quick to point out why the speculation was unfounded, and criticized those who chose to analyze Swift’s appearance.
“Here’s an idea guys… she’s not currently burning 5k calories during her 3+ hour show every night and she’s living her life like a normal woman. She’s healthy and has a NORMAL body,” reads one comment, which has over 7,000 likes as of this writing.
Others pointed out that Swift has been open about her struggles with body image and disordered eating in the past, so it’s insensitive for fans to be picking apart her appearance. Meanwhile, a fan on Twitter pointed out that Swift could be seen drinking a cocktail during her meetup with Gomez, so a pregnancy is unlikely.

Swift Recently Bought Back Her Masters
Swift has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since her Eras Tour came to an end last December. However, last week she shared an exciting update with her fans, letting them know that she had bought back the master recordings of her first six albums.
For the past several years, Swift had been re-recording these albums to regain control of her music. She has already released four out of the six re-recordings, with fans anxiously awaiting the announcement of Reputation and her self-titled debut.
Swift bought the masters back from Shamrock Capital, who had previously purchased them from Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings in 2020. According to Billboard, Swift paid around $360 million to regain ownership of the catalog.
In her letter to fans, Swift shared that she had finished re-recording her debut album but hadn’t made much headway on Reputation (Taylor’s Version). She told fans that these remaining albums “can still have their moments to re-emerge when the time is right.”
