Lauren Jauregui Joins DWTS Two Days Before Announcement
The Season 34 cast of DWTS was announced Wednesday on Good Morning America. Among the celebrities competing this year is Lauren Jauregui, best known for being part of the girl group Fifth Harmony. She’s paired with pro dancer Brandon Armstrong.
Following the official announcement, Jauregui posted the news on Instagram, writing that she “found out I was going on a new adventure on MONDAY!” The singer added that she flew to New York on Tuesday morning to prepare for GMA.
“I’m so incredibly excited to go on this journey with you @brandonarmstrong,” Jauregui wrote to finish the post’s caption. “LET’S DANCE!!”
Because Jauregui signed on to the show so late, official cast photos of her and Armstrong have yet to be released, as they have for the rest of the Season 34 cast. Instead, Jauregui shared a picture of the pair on the GMA set.
