Fans Think Urban Crew Flyers of the South Could Follow in V.Unbeatable’s ‘AGT’ Footsteps

America’s Got Talent fans were immediately taken aback when Urban Crew Flyers of the South’s early release reminded them of champion, V.Unbeatable. Tune into AGT on Tuesday to see if this group continues on in the competition.
On June 13, America’s Got Talent released Urban Crew Flyers of the South’s audition early. Within the video, the group shares that they are a dance, breakdance, and acrobat group from the Philippines. The group explained that they’re coming to the stage as a contribution for their country. Urban Crew Flyers of the South expressed that they’ve practiced tirelessly for this opportunity.
As soon as the music began, they premiered their energetic dance and acrobatic skills. This group seriously impressed during their early release. The audience gave them a standing ovation as soon as their time was over. The judges seemed to enjoy their act, so I’m sure they’ll make it through to the next round.
Urban Crew Flyers of the South Reminds Fans of V.Unbeatable
Since America’s Got Talent published this audition, fans have noticed similarities between Urban Crew Flyers of the South and Mumbai-based dance crew, V.Unbeatable. For those who don’t know, V.Unbeatable is a dance crew that originally took the AGT stage in season 14, earning the title of fourth place. They later returned for AGT: The Champions 2 and took home the grand prize.
V.Unbeatable made waves in America’s Got Talent with their combination of dance and acrobatics. Their win made them the highest placing dance group in all 14 seasons of AGT and 2 seasons of The Champions. Although they hold this honor, they are not the highest placing dance act ever.
When V.Unbeatable first took stage, fans were impressed with their acrobatic dance routine. This group earned two Golden Buzzers during their time on AGT, during Judge Cuts (season 14) and in the Preliminary round (The Champions 2).
“I’ve been waiting for an act like V-Unbeatable to perform on this show, and this group BLEW ME AWAY! FLAWLESS! AMAZING PERFORMANCE! I loved every second! Golden Buzzer Worthy, 100 times over! There was so much going on at one time,” a fan wrote on YouTube. “I need to watch this over again and in slow-mo! The hours of practice, the sweat and tears, and extreme discipline to get to this level of expertise! If this is their audition, I can’t imagine what these acrobatics will do next round!”
What Was This Dance Crew up to Before AGT?
Ahead of AGT, Urban Crew Flyers of the South were seen on Pilipinas Got Talent, as well as Asia’s Got Talent (2017). After being a finalist on Asia’s Got Talent, the dance crew reportedly danced for four consecutive years at the Dubai Global Village. Since the dance crew’s social media dates back to 2019, we’re unsure when this group originally began.
Since Urban Crew Flyers of the South have a very similar act to V.Unbeatable, fans expect the dancers to do just as well on the stage. Even though Simon Cowell mentioned that the judges aren’t saying yes to any acts they’ve seen prior, we expect Urban Crew Flyers of the South to make it through to the next round. Even though their act is similar to V.Unbeatable, the talent is undeniable.
