Deceased ‘AGT’ Star Nightbirde Releases Third Posthumous Album

America’s Got Talent 2021 star Jane Kristen Marczewski, also known as Nightbirde, is once again making waves in the music industry. The Nightbirde Foundation used cutting-edge “Ethical AI” vocal production technology to complete newest album, Still Got Dreams. Still Got Dreams is now available on all streaming platforms.
The Nightbirde Foundation Releases Third Posthumous Album
On February 20, The Nightbirde Foundation released Still Got Dreams. The album is now streaming on all platforms. 100% of all proceeds from Nightbirde’s album will benefit The Nightbirde Foundation, dedicated to supporting women battling breast cancer through hope and healing. The album was released in honor of the third anniversary of the singer’s death.
The 12 songs featured on Still Got Dreams were written by Nightbirde before she passed. Unfortunately, Nightbirde didn’t have the opportunity to record these songs in-studio. The Nightbirde Estate, Nashville Unsigned, and her longtime producer Geoff Duncan used “ethical AI” to complete the project. In addition, the album’s title track “Still Got Dreams” features fellow AGT alumni Mzansi Youth Choir.
According to The Nightbirde Foundation’s press release: “The team meticulously trained an AI voice on Nightbirde’s unique vocal tone, style and emotional delivery, creating a 360-degree mapping of her voice.” The technology allowed the most accurate representation of her voice and authenticity of her artistry. According to the press release, only specific pieces of AI vocal production were used for the album, while the rest of the project was built entirely from the ground up by her Geoff Duncan, who worked closely with her throughout her career.
How Nightbirde’s Family Used Ethical AI For Posthumous Album
The Nightbirde Estate used an innovative approach on her newest album Still Got Dreams. Even though Nightbirde was not able to sing for the album, Still Got Dreams showcases her vocal authenticity, in ways never imagined before. According to the press release, The Nightbirde Estate is one of the only artist estates in the world to use AI vocal production this way, legally, ethically, and with full authorization of the estate.
Still Got Dreams carries Nightbirde’s tracks interwoven with quotes, directly from her. Similar to her album It’s OK, Still Got Dreams features “nuggets of wisdom” for Nightbirde fans. Still Got Dreams further highlights her gift for inspiring others, even in dark times.
According to the press release: “This album is a heartfelt gift to the world, embodying Nightbirde’s mission to shine light into life’s darkest corners. It’s not just about music—it’s about hope finding its way to places that need it most.”
Who is Nightbirde?
Jane Marczewski, also known as Nightbirde, was a singer who rose to fame on America’s Got Talent 2021. During her AGT audition, she performed original song “It’s OK” and earned over 80 million views on the show’s official YouTube channel. In her audition, she revealed that she was battling metastatic breast cancer with a 2% chance of survival.
Unfortunately, Nightbirde was unable to perform in the Quarterfinals of the competition. Instead, Nightbirde appeared in the Quaterfinals via video message, announcing that her health took a turn for the worse. She then had to withdraw from the competition.
Nightbirde passed away from Cancer on February 19, 2022 at the age of 31. She was surrounded by family at the time of her death. Since then, her family has launched The Nightbirde Memorial Fund, a foundation that donates to cancer research and helps support those unable to afford treatment. AGT aired their condolences for Nightbirde via social media, and also honored her at the end of America’s Got Talent: Extreme auditions 2.
