The Kelly Clarkson Show recently hit a monumental milestone. While commenting on the show’s success, Clarkson acknowledged some of the things that have happened behind the scenes. For those who may have missed it Clarkson was recently missing from her show, which led fans to worry about her wellbeing.
Kelly Clarkson Celebrates 1000 Episodes of The Kelly Clarkson Show
On Thursday’s episode, the talk show host took the stage for her opening monologue. During the monologue, Clarkson got candid about everything thats taken place since the show’s premiere on Sept. 9, 2019.
She started out the monologue saying that the show, over five years, has met some huge stars, everyday heroes and its even created a community during a lot of ups and down. She then noted going through the pandemic together, and sending the audience to different countries. Discussing the creation of music, going all out for holidays, seeing tons of animals, and even moving the show to New York City.
“Looking back we are all incredibly proud of what we’ve built and the community we’ve created,” Clarkson said. “I’m super proud of my whole crew of my band, and everybody has done such an incredible job.”
She finished out her monologue thanking everyone who has been apart of the journey. She even subtly joked that she still doesn’t know how to cook, even with the countless chefs that have come on to the show.

For the thousandth episode Kellyoke, Clarkson returned to her roots with an incredible Witney Houston cover. The American Idol star sang “I Have Nothing” for the celebration of her talk show.

The incredible performance has gained almost 50 thousand views at the time of writing. Fans of the singer are thrilled with the song choice.
“Kelly needs to be more recognized,” a fan commented on YouTube. “She is an exceptional singer who can sing anything with excellence. We, Kelly’s fans, need to show people that Kelly Clarkson is the best singer of all time.”

In December, The Kelly Clarkson Show had been renewed, meaning the show will run through 2026. The 2024-25 Season averaged 1.2 million viewers per day, which was an increase from Fall 2023. It’s clear that Clarkson’s show is truly a hit and will continue on past a thousand episodes.
