BIO: Jenna Johnson joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars as a professional dancer in season 23 (2016). She won her first mirrorball the following year with partner Adam Rippon. She made DWTS history in 2021 with her partner JoJo Siwa. The pair were the first same-sex couple to compete in the series.
Johnson rose to fame as a contestant on the FOX series So You Think You Can Dance in 2013. She auditioned with her two sisters, but surpassed them at the Green Mile. Johnson’s specialty in the series was Latin Ballroom and her partner was Tucker Knox. This dancer finished as part of the top eight. She returned to the series as a mentor and choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation.
Johnson is currently married to fellow DWTS professional Valentin Chmerkovskiy. They tied the knot on April 13, 2019.
