BIO: Ed Sheeran is a popular singer/songwriter that rose to fame alongside his debut album + (plus) in 2011. Sheeran began recording music in 2004, releasing his first song collection, Spinning Man, at the age of 13. In 2009, he released another EP in 2009 after he moved to London, entitled You Need Me. Around this time, Sheeran began earning international fame due to the internet. In 2011, Sheeran released another EP, No. 5 Collaborations Project.
Later that year, the singer released his debut single “The A Team.” This song was almost an immediate hit, it entered the UK singles charts at No. 3 and became the best-selling debut single and overall eighth best selling single of 2011.
