BIO: Darci Lynne Farmer made America’s Got Talent history as the first ever female ventriloquist to win. She began the season out singing “Summertime” by George Gershwin with her puppet, Petunia. Mel B was so impressed with Farmer’s performance that she sent her through to the quarter finals with the Golden Buzzer.
Farmer showed interest in singing at a young age, but was held back from her shyness. She developed a talent for ventriloquism after watching several successful ventriloquists, such as Terry Fator. She combined her love of singing with her talent of ventriloquism to create her AGT act. Ahead of AGT, Farmer appeared on Little Big Shots, as well as in local competitions.
Following her AGT win, Farmer embarked on her first tour, Darci Lynne and Friends Live. She later returned for America’s Got Talent: The Champions and embarked on her second tour, Darci Lynne and Friends: Fresh Out of the Box. She went on yet another tour entitled My Lips Are Sealed (Except When They’re Not) in 2022. This AGT winner has gone on to perform in some of the biggest venues in the world before turning 18 years old.
