Darci Lynne Previews Debut Single for Fans on Social Media

Darci Lynne on 'America's Got Talent Fantasy League'

America’s Got Talent Season 12 winner Darci Lynne Farmer took to social media this week to share a preview of her upcoming debut single “Push Our Luck.” The track will be available for fans to stream on Monday, February 5.

“You guys! My songs came back,” Farmer said to start the clip posted to Instagram and TikTok, in which she sits in the car and listens to her debut single. “Turn it up. This is what I recorded in Nashville.”

Farmer got emotional as she listened to the finished track, telling fans that she was “so excited.” She couldn’t help but sing along with herself as the song played. The singer announced the track’s upcoming release last month.

She even shared what her favorite part of the song is, and it happens to include the title: “Honey, it’s a rush / When we push our luck.” If you liked Farmer’s preview, you can pre-save the track now before it’s released on Monday.

The Star Is Branching Out into Original Music

Farmer made a name for herself on AGT Season 12 with her singing ventriloquist act. Recently, however, she has been branching out into singing without a puppet — including original music, which she has teased with fans on social media.

Last month, Farmer returned to the Got Talent stage for AGT: Fantasy League. She performed with her puppet Petunia before going solo to play guitar and sing “I’ve Got the Music in Me.” Judge Mel B said she preferred the “simplicity” of what Farmer used to do.

Nevertheless, the audience still chose to vote Farmer through to the Semifinals. What do you think about the singer branching out into original music? Are you excited to hear her new single on Monday? Let us know in the comments below.
