On Saturday night, Aguilera kicked off her new Las Vegas residency at The Voltaire at The Venetian. She wore a variety of flashy, form-fitting outfits, leading some to notice her apparent weight loss. According to In Touch, Aguilera has lost over 40 pounds.
The singer reportedly lost the weight thanks to healthy eating and exercise. Aguilera had previously lost weight after giving birth to her son Max in 2008 by following a strict diet of 1,600 calories a day. She reportedly gained weight again after her divorce from ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
Now, Aguilera is reportedly done with dieting and instead has started focusing on clean eating. The star has spoken out about how she’s viewed her body in the years since she became famous, telling Health in 2021 that she “hated being super skinny” when she first started out.
“Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves,” Aguilera shared.
