The popular award-winning recording artist John Legend and his wife, best-selling cookbook author Chrissy Teigen shared how they met one another on Celebrity Family Feud. The simple yet intimate way they met surprised the viewers as the couple bumped into each other on the set of a music video.
How The Couple Met On the Set of Legend’s Music Video
The couple, along with close family members, took to the stage on the season premiere of Celebrity Family Feud. Hosted by Steve Harvey, the famous couple got asked a question fans have been wondering about for a while.
Legend and his family went out for a few rounds of the hit game show, playing for a charity of their choice. When Harvey greeted the couple, he brought up about the time they met while filming a music video.
“We met on the set of one of my music videos in 2006 and we are still together,” Legend said.
Harvey decided to dig deeper into the story and asked Teigen for her version of how she met her husband of almost ten years now. The model went a little bit too into the details of their meeting, surprising fans with her blunt revelation.
She revealed that after they filmed the video, they went back to Legend’s hotel room and intimately hooked up. If you’re wondering what music video they did together, it was for the hit 2006 single “Stereo,” and the couple has been together ever since.

On the set of The Voice, the male coach welcomed two special guests to sit on his chair. Teigen shared a picture of her husband together with their six-year-old daughter Luna and four-year-old son Miles.
Teigen herself was absent from the photo, writing in the caption that she is currently in bed. Their family will soon become a party of five as the couple prepare to welcome their newest bundle of joy to the world. The singer reflected on adding another member to their family, expressing his utmost joy for the special day.
“It feels like we learned so much over the years through struggle and through the challenges that we faced,” Legend said. “And I think we’ve both grown so much. And we’re ready. We’re ready for a new baby in our lives.”
The couple also revealed that they are excited for the baby’s arrival, hoping that the child comes out healthy. In the meantime, the couple makes efforts to shower their two children with all the love and care they deserve.
