The official Celine Dion Twitter account retweeted a video of Peter’s audition on Friday. The account added, “Bravo!” with three clapping hand emojis. It was signed as coming from “Team Celine.” It doesn’t seem to have come from the singer directly, but it’s still an impressive response.
Peter definitely seems excited about the recognition. He retweeted Team Celine’s comment, exclaiming, “I got goosebumps!!! Thank you @celinedion.” He added a heart-eye emoji and a red heart. He also posted about it on his Instagram account.
During the Season 16 premiere, Peter strutted onto the AGT stage in a white suit and shared that he was born in the United Arab Emirates, but he is a Filipino citizen. He said he would use the million-dollar prize to buy a Nintendo Switch and a laptop for online school.
